I have had the keyboard for my HP Elite x2 1012 G1 stop working. These are the steps to fix the unresponsive keyboard:
- Shutdown the x2 (off, not suspended/sleeping)
- Disconnect the keyboard from the x2
- Press the ON/OFF button for 30 seconds (at least).
- Release the ON/OFF button.
- Attach the keyboard.
- Power on the x2.
- Keyboard works!
